Pig-Sty BBQ

OMG so good. Quite humbling to eat such amazing bbq. We had the Saturday special beef ribs, brisket burnt ends, and pulled pork dinners. The side dishes are great. Be sure to try the collierd greens, and the sweet potato mash and macaroni and cheese are good. The BBQ is so delicious, they exceeded my expectations. I think we're going to get the exact same entrees next time but we'll add the onion rings. The Pig-Sty family knows how to bbq!!

Brunswick stew was super yummy! Very smoky and meaty with lots of flavor. Fries were amazing, probably the best i had, but portion was light for the price. I really enjoyed the sauces. The coleslaw uses mayo rather than coconut milk which is a more southern thing, so i was not used to its taste, but the quality was nice. I will definitely try out more things from here, I may even change to a five star later on.

[Updated 1-20-24: After seeing the "dino" beef ribs in some other reviews, I made a point to come back when they had some. It was one of the few things on my eating life list and was so worth it. There's no way I could eat 1.5 lbs of beef plus sides so I'm taking home almost a full meal after already eating a decent bit of the rib (and mac n cheese and sweet potato; I couldn't pass them up). The "dino" rib was so tender it slid right off the bone and so tasty that it didn't need any sauce. We will definitely be back.] Pig-Sty BBQ has been on our date night wishlist for a while and my only regret is not making it here sooner. You could smell the food from the parking lot and it tasted even better than it smelled. I got a brisket dinner with sweet potato souffle and some of the creamiest mac n cheese I've ever had. It was well worth the $1 upcharge. I made my husband get his own because I wasn't sharing it. His pulled pork was so good that the sauce, which was also good, almost took away from it. And the brisket was so tender that my fork went right through it. They were (unexpectedly) busy tonight but the service was still excellent. We will be back soon, guaranteed.

The employees at the restaurant were pleasant and the dinning area was dimly lit, very clean. The brontosaurus rib was moist very fatty and meaty, but not enough flavor for my liking. Definitely needed bbq sauce to enjoy it. The collard greens did have a bite to them, but they lacked seasoning. The baked beans were not too appealing. I was expecting them to be a little sweet, but didn’t taste as if it had any brown sugar in them. Had a hickory taste. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy, but seamed to be missing something. I loved the bacon jalapeño corn bread. The chicken was moist with a smoky flavor, with a bit of a kick to it. Also, Loved the sausage.

Not only my favorite BBQ joint but one of my favorite restaurants in town. I eat there at least once a week. I've tried everything on the menu so far but my favorites are the pastrami and the beef Dino rib. And those collards! OMG! And ask to try the mango habenero sauce. The owners and staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome walking in the door.

First time having their rib dinner combo. I was recommended by the owners brother to give the place a try. The collard greens are really good, I love the baby back ribs as well, very soft and tender, the meat falls right off the bone. I would highly recommend anyone for their first time trying it. Also placing an order was very easy, the gentleman I spoke to was very patient with my order. Also it's not bad for an extra 1 for collard greens.
